Feed a Friend Program Serves Meal and Educational Enrichment

Reading, PA - AmeriHealth Mercy Health Plan sponsored the Olivet Boys and Girls Club - Reading PAL Unit "Feed-a-Friend" Program on Thursday, January 27. The event was held at the Police Athletic League of Greater Reading on Walnut Street.

Participants received valuable health information as part of a session on 'empowerment.' AmeriHealth Mercy Health Plan employees served dinner to approximately 150 children and teens.

The purpose of the "Feed-a-Friend" Program is to provide a meal and a forum for educational enrichment for the children and teens of Reading. The event is held at the Police Athletic League every Thursday evening from 5:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.
