Pennsylvania Statewide Latino Coalition 9th Annual Conference Comes to Philadelphia

Philadelphia, PA - Latino leaders, organizations, community activists, students, and individuals are coming to Philadelphia for the Pennsylvania Statewide Latino Coalition (PSLC) Annual Conference on Thursday, October 21 thru Saturday, October 23. This year's event will be held at the Adams Mark Hotel on City Line Avenue. The theme of this year's conference, "Recordando el pasado, para mejorar el futuro" (Remembering the past, to improve the future), promises to be an educational, rewarding and enjoyable event for members of Pennsylvania's Latino community.

AmeriHealth Mercy Health Plan will sponsor a Policy Luncheon where the PSLC is presenting Estelle Richman, Secretary of Public Welfare and Dr. Edgardo Maldonado, a physician from Lehigh Valley Hospital, with awards recognizing their commitment to the Latino community. The Policy Luncheon will take place on Thursday October 21 from 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.

"As part of our mission, AmeriHealth Mercy Health Plan wants to be an active partner with the community," said Sherry Knowlton, Vice President and General Manager. "We are proud to support the PSLC efforts in improving the economic, social and health outcomes of Pennsylvania's Latino population."
