Member Scholarship Program

The Member Scholarship Program has awarded nearly $1.3 million to more than 600 members, in both the Lehigh/Capital and Philadelphia marketsIn keeping with AmeriHealth Mercy's Mission and Values, the Member Scholarship Program was created in 1988 in an effort to extend support to members beyond the traditional health care services. The scholarships are funded by donations from AmeriHealth Mercy associates and are awarded to AmeriHealth Mercy members who have committed themselves to continuing their education, and who have demonstrated a financial need.

Since its inception, the Member Scholarship Program has awarded more than 650 scholarships to members, totaling nearly $1.5 million, in both the Lehigh/Capital and Philadelphia markets.

Submission of applications for this year’s Scholarship Program is closed. Look for information on the program in early January 2009.
