Partnering with the Community
The core of AmeriHealth Mercy's success is our mission. In addition to providing access to quality health care for our members, AmeriHealth Mercy partners with the communities we serve. Through participation in neighborhood functions and community outreach events, AmeriHealth Mercy makes a difference in the areas where our members live. We lend our support and work with groups who address social issues that affect health care, such as homelessness, violence prevention, unemployment and education.
AmeriHealth Mercy has developed several health education programs to stress the importance of early detection, preventive care, healthy behaviors, and overall personal health awareness. It is our hope that the health education programs will serve to not only improve the health of our members and the communities we serve, but also empower people to take control of their health!
Community, Civic, or Social Service Organizations - We will be happy to speak to your members and/or staff about the following:
- AmeriHealth Mercy Health Plan, its benefits and services

- Provider Relations; Case Management; Preventive Health Services
Schools, Communities and Neighborhoods - If you are planning a community activity, such as fall and summer festivals, we will be happy to attend to provide information on preventive health initiatives.
