Robert H. Gilman is Senior Vice President of Legal Affairs, and General Counsel for AmeriHealth Mercy Health Plan. His primary responsibility is to oversee the Legal Affairs Department as its lawyers and staff provide legal advice and representation for AmeriHealth Mercy and its affiliates. Mr. Gilman and the legal staff are involved in advising all aspects of the Company’s operations including medical management, provider contracting, information technology and acquisitions and divestitures.
Prior to joining Keystone Mercy, Mr. Gilman was with the firm of Reed, Smith, Shaw and McClay in Philadelphia where he practiced in the health care, insurance and commercial areas. Before practicing law, he worked in health care administration at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and Pennsylvania Hospital. Mr. Gilman received JD, MBA and BA degrees from the University of Pennsylvania. |
